Rovers skipper Charlie Mulgrew has scooped the PFA Bristol Street Motors Player of the Month award for April.
In a month where he scored the winning goal to seal promotion at Doncaster Rovers, Charlie also found the net at Bristol Rovers from the penalty spot.
The skipper played in all seven of our April games, with Rovers winning four and drawing two of those matches. Mulgrew also oversaw three clean sheets in that time.
And Charlie finally has his hands on the PFA prize having been nominated for the September award earlier on in the campaign.
Our leader fought off competition from Charlton Athletic stopper Ben Amos, Blackpool's ex-Rovers striker Nathan Delfouneso, Wigan duo Will Grigg and Michael Jacobs and Southend United striker Theo Robinson, for the gong.
The final results from the poll can be found below:
• Charlie Mulgrew (Blackburn) - 34%
• Ben Amos (Charlton) - 17%
• Will Grigg (Wigan) - 15%
• Theo Robinson (Southend) - 15%
• Nathan Delfouneso (Blackpool) - 13%
• Michael Jacobs (Wigan) - 6%
Well done, skip!
