It will be a unique occasion in Northern Ireland this evening, as two Rovers players go head-to-head!

For defender Jack Doyle, who is on loan at Derry City, will come up against goalkeeper Aaron Dillon, who is on loan at Bray Wanderers.

The SSE Airtricity League Premier Division fixture will take place at Derry's Brandywell Stadium, kick-off 7.45pm.

Academy graduate Doyle, who signed a new two-and-a-half-year deal with the club in January 2017, made his senior debut in Rovers' Carabao Cup victory over Coventry earlier this season.

A regular for Rovers' table-topping Under-23s, the left-back made the move to Derry last month and made his debut in their impressive 5-0 victory over Limerick on Monday night.

Kenny Shiels' side will be hoping to make it back-to-back home wins when they host bottom-of-the-table Bray this evening.

Dillon, who signed a one-year deal with Rovers following a successful trial in the summer, joined the County Wicklow club on Valentine's Day in order to gain valuable first team experience.

He kept a clean sheet on his Seagulls debut, in a goalless draw away to Dundalk, and has since started their league games against St. Patrick's Athletic, Shamrock Rovers, Limerick and Sligo Rovers.

Best of luck to both Rovers players tonight!
