A date for Rovers’ rearranged Premier League 2 fixture at home to Newcastle United has now been confirmed.
The game was initially set to take place on Monday March 12th, but was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The rescheduled fixture will now be played at the LFA County Ground in Leyland on Monday April 9th, kick-off 7pm.
Following the Newcastle fixture, Damien Johnson’s side, who are currently seven points clear at the top of the PL2 table, will have just two more matches, as follows:
- Rovers U23s v Aston Villa U23s
Monday April 16th
Ewood Park
Kick-off 7pm - West Bromwich Albion U23s v Rovers U23s
Monday April 23rd
Kidderminster Harriers FC
Kick-off 7pm
Victory over Aston Villa at Ewood Park next month will ensure that Rovers are crowned Premier League 2 Division 2 champions.
