Rovers duo Darragh Lenihan and Derrick Williams have been called up for the Republic of Ireland's 30-man provisional squad.
The duo join a number of Premier League players in the squad, and should he play, 25-year-old Williams will earn his first cap for the senior squad having represented his country at Under-19 and Under-21 level.
Fellow defender Lenihan is in a similar position and has been rewarded for his fine form since returning to the Rovers side with the call up.
Dunboyne-born Lenihan has played for Ireland at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level in the past.
The duo also join ex-Rover Shane Duffy in the squad for their national team.
Should Rovers earn three or more international call ups then there is the possibility that the upcoming away game at Doncaster Rovers could be postponed.
Congratulations to both Darragh and Del!
