Rovers Ladies' title charge remains on track after a 3-0 victory over local rivals AFC Fylde.
Former Fylde duo Lagan Makin and Natasha Flint combined for the opening goal just past the half-hour mark, before late strikes from Jess Holbrook and Lynda Shepherd wrapped up the win.
In a high-tempo start, there were three chances in quick succession, as Shepherd headed wide before Saffron Jordan was unable to truly test the Fylde keeper, then soon after, Sophie Charlton headed straight at Danielle Hill from close range.
The visitors edged the early exchanges, but it was Rovers opened the scoring on 33 minutes when Makin moved the ball smartly inside for Flint to smash a shot into the bottom corner.
Rovers controlled the game after the interval and wrapped up the points with a couple of late goals.
On 81 minutes, and following a well-crafted move, Holbrook gave Rovers a cushion when she calmly curled the ball around the keeper after Jordan’s lay-off.
Soon after, Shepherd killed the game off with a close-range header from Holbrook's pin-point corner.
Rovers could have added a fourth in stoppage-time when a quick free-kick was played through to Flint, but she snatched at the chance and missed the target.
The win saw Gemma Donnelly's side move up to fourth in the table, 14 points behind league leaders Middlesbrough, but with six games in hand.
