Following last week's postponement between the two teams, it'll be second time lucky for both Rovers and Blackpool's Under-18s sides ahead of Tuesday's clash at Ewood Park in the FA Youth Cup.
It's quarter-final time in the competition, with the carrot being a two-legged semi-final, as the competition heads into the final four stage.
Billy Barr's youngsters are starting to make Ewood their home and have seen off Wrexham, Stoke, Watford and the latest victims being Nottingham Forest on home turf, after winning away at Tranmere in the first round.
Jack Vale will be hoping to continue his fine form in the competition, with the 16-year-old hitting a hat-trick against Forest last time out.
And whilst Vale is a certainty to be included on Tuesday night, two key players may not make it.
Having already lost one of his stars in Callum Wright, who moved onto Leicester City in the January transfer window, Barr has injury doubts over Ben Paton and the influential Dan Butterworth.
That may mean one or two of the Under-16 batch get an opportunity on the night, with James Connolly being impressive in the Under-23s draw against Southampton in the Premier League Cup and playing in the Under-18s latest game against Newcastle United.
Opponents Blackpool defeated Ipswich Town 2-0 in the last round and have already beaten both Southampton and West Ham United in their FA Youth Cup journey this term, under the stewardship of boss John Murphy.
They'll have been buoyed by that latest win at Portman Road in the last round, winning thanks to goals from Rowan Roache and Owen Watkinson.
