Adam Armstrong, Bradley Dack, Paul Downing, Richie Smallwood and Marcus Antonsson all clubbed together in a 'Happy Gilmore' event at the Rovers Academy on Tuesday afternoon.
Created around this year’s Masters golf showcase, the Rovers quintet were attempting to hit a drive as far as possible, with a run up before hitting the ball.
Richie’s 'compact' style was certainly unique, whilst Swedish forward Marcus had a bit of Henrik Stenson about him when he was swinging without a run up.
A keen golfer, Downing showed what he could do, but the winner was Dack, who pipped the rest with a 281 metre drive.
League sponsors Sky Bet have travelled to a number of EFL clubs in the lead up to the Masters, with Dack now top of the pile after pipping Wycombe defender Adam El Abd’s hit.
“We came down for the challenge and I won - obviously!” Bradley said in typically modest fashion.
"Everyone has seen the film and I think I cleared the trees with my attempts. It was certainly an enjoyable afternoon.
“With the clocks going forward we can play a bit more golf after training. Marcus is probably the best out of all the lads, but I play off 12, which isn’t too bad. I’ll be looking to get that down a bit in the summer. I do enjoy my golf and watched it when I was a kid."
