26 March 2018

Sponsored by

Blackburn Rovers Community Trust is hosting a BTEC open evening on Wednesday 28th March in the Darwen End Stand at Ewood Park from 6-7pm.

Our BTEC programme offers a unique opportunity for ambitious football fans to study at the home of a Premier League-winning team.

The further education qualification at BRCT is targeted towards 16-18 year-olds, so if you are still planning your future after high school and you love football, this is the perfect solution for you!

During the scholarship, students can earn qualifications that will help gain employment in the sport and leisure industry.

Participants will also train and compete for Rovers in a professionally-managed football environment in an 11-a-side games programme against representative teams from other professional clubs in the EFL.

Head of recruitment for the programme, Chris McGrail, said: “It has been a successful 2018 in terms of recruiting students for the next academic year.

“We don’t have too many spaces left and we are confident the remaining slots will soon be filled. So if anyone is interested, please pay our team a visit on Wednesday and see what the programme is all about.”
