Rovers are pleased to confirm the arrangement of our second home pre-season friendly, with Premier League outfit Everton set to make a trip to East Lancashire in July.
The encounter will be one of the first fixtures for new Everton boss Marco Silva to run his eye over his squad, and takes place at Ewood Park on Thursday 26th July, with kick-off scheduled for 7.45pm.
The two teams last met in July 2013, when the Toffees made the trip to Ewood armed with a strong side.
Nikica Jelavic scored two and Belgian Kevin Mirallas bagged the other in a 3-1 win for the visitors, with Scott Dann notching for Rovers.
The clash against the Merseysiders is the sixth friendly the club have confirmed ahead of Rovers’ return to the Championship in early August.
Tickets will be priced at just £10 for adults, £5 for seniors (65+) and young adults (ages 18-21), and just £2 for juniors (under-18s).
This means we will have a Merseyside double-header, with Liverpool visiting Ewood a week earlier on Thursday 19th July, kick-off 7.45pm.
