Tony Mowbray says it's important to have characters like Craig Conway in the Rovers camp ahead of the 2018-19 season

With 174 appearances in Rovers colours, Conway agreed a deal to extend his Ewood Park stay into a sixth season last week.
And Tony is looking forward to having the Scot around; admitting his attitude is one which all the squad should look to emulate.
“He’s honest and a really good fella," Mowbray began. "He loves playing for the football club, is settled in the area and I know he’ll be giving everything he’s got to make it a successful season for us next season.
“When he is injured, I don’t see anyone in the gym more than Craig. He works incredibly hard to make sure he is fit and available.
"We’ll need to stay in games at times next season and Craig will give us that option as he is so disciplined and works so hard for the team. He’s a real team player."
