Rovers are pleased to announce that Craig Conway will remain at the club next season.
The Scottish stalwart has put pen-to-paper on a new one-year deal through to June 2019, with the option of a further 12 months.
After helping Cardiff City secure promotion to the Premier League in 2013, Conway completed a deadline day move to Rovers in January 2014 and quickly became a hit at Ewood Park.
So often the supply line to the strikers, but with a keen eye for goal himself, the 33-year-old has become an instrumental figure both on and off the pitch, and has developed a close rapport with the Rovers fans.
Over the past four-and-a-half years, the versatile and hard-working wideman has scored 20 goals in 174 games for the club, including memorable late strikes at home to Portsmouth and Bradford City last season.
Having ended the promotion-winning campaign with a foot injury, Conway is now back to full fitness and looking forward to joining back up with his team-mates for the start of pre-season later this month.
Conway's new deal follows hot on the heels of the news that fellow fans favourite Danny Graham will also remain with Rovers next season after putting pen-to-paper on a one-year deal at Ewood Park earlier this week.
