Tony Mowbray says he is looking forward to seeing a "young and exciting" England team, ahead of tonight's opener against Tunisia in Group G.
Gareth Southgate's side tackle Tunisia tonight in the first group match for the national team, and our boss is looking forward to England kicking off their tournament.
“I hope England do well. They have a young and exciting team," Tony said. "[Raheem] Sterling and [Jesse] Lingard can be so important behind [Harry] Kane and I’ve not even mentioned two other exciting players in Dele Alli and [Marcus] Rashford!
“As of a [Richie] Smallwood for us, you can put in a destructive player like a [Jordan] Henderson or a [Eric] Dier in there to put out the fires and see what is happening.
“[Kyle] Walker as a right sided centre half in a three is exciting with his speed and power. I don’t see why England can’t get out of the group and then we will see.
"Hopefully the country can get wrapped up in it alongside the Rovers fans, who on the side will be seeing us build a side to gear up for the Championship!"
