"He has full belief in me and has given me that license to play." Those are the words of Bradley Dack when discussing his relationship with the boss, Tony Mowbray.

A signing in the summer of 2017, Dack was influential in Rovers' return to the Championship at the first time of asking, as he top scored with 18 strikes to his name, won the club's Player of the Year award before picking up the top prize in League One as well.
But he admits he couldn't have done any of that without his team-mates, and reserves special praise for Mowbray, who he adds has been "spot on" in his man management.
“The gaffer has played a massive part in my good season last term," Bradley explained to iFollow Rovers.
"There have been one or two times where he’s sat me down and given me a telling off but he’s always trying to help you. He’s brought me on as a player and as a person and all credit to him.
“I don’t have a bad word to say about him. He’s been brilliant with me. If I’m honest I think sometimes part of my personality is being a little bit cheeky and getting into trouble.
“That’s where the boss has been really good with me," the 24-year-old added. "He’s not a shouter, he just sits me down, tells me off if he needs to, praises me if he needs to and his man management is excellent. He’s got it spot on with me.
“He says to me all the time about knowing my role in the team and he lets me express himself. He likes players who can do something different. He has full belief in me and has given me that license to play. He’s been perfect for me."
