It was a terrific afternoon for everyone on Saturday as the East Lancashire community came together at Ewood Park for our first ever #OneRovers Festival.
It was an action-packed, fun-filled day despite the weather, but we couldn't have done it without the assistance of a number of local businesses and partners.
There were three main sponsors for the event, as Blackburn with Darwen Council, Nybble and Blackburn Rovers Community Trust all playing a major part in ensuring #OneRovers Festival was a success.
Our charity partners; Child Action Northwest, East Lancashire Hospice, Age UK (Blackburn) and Life on the Edge were all very supportive of the event, which resulted in hundreds of local people having a great day at our home.
And of course our thanks go to the suppliers and stall workers from: Pizza Island, TCK Deli, Fruiticious Fountains, TastyTreatz, Rippleheads, Piemezzanae, Willow Catering, Sweet Temptations, Marton Rock, Techwise, Poshak and McDonalds for providing a number of attractions for everyone to enjoy.
Young people also came out in force, and we're thankful for the help of individuals from Blackburn College, Blackburn Youth Zone, Switch Youth Community Organisation and the local scout groups for giving up their time to provide fantastic assistance on the day.
It was also fantastic to see the Mayor of Blackburn in attendance to throw her support behind our day at Ewood!
Once again, to all of the organisations, troops and the local community, we hope you enjoyed the day and thank you for making our maiden #OneRovers Festival a memorable occasion!
