Blackburn Rovers Community Trust’s summer Football and Activity Camps will start later this month at the Indoor Centre.
The six-week camp, which will be held from Monday 23rd July to Friday 31st August, are yet again proving popular with children across the region, with many places already filled.
Football has certainly been the talk of the town this summer. First, Rovers sealed their promotion back to the Championship and then, England went to have a summer to remember at the 2018 World Cup.
Now it is the camps turn to take over the limelight. Every school holiday sees BRCT inundated with applications from families wanting to send their children or grandchildren on one of the Trust's fun and friendly junior football courses for all children aged 5 to 11.
The Trust’s highly qualified and CRB-checked community coaches are delivering a fun football, varied coaching programme keeping the action stimulating, with a guarantee that no two days are the same.
Attendees will be given a great coaching experience to develop their sporting and inter-personal skills, and even prizes to be won!
It will be the highlight of your child's summer holiday, so make sure you get them signed up before we sell out!
Each day children will need a packed lunch, drinks, shin pads and appropriate footballing attire as the sessions will take place indoor on AstroTurf. Daily registration takes place from 8.30am-9am at the Blackburn Rovers Indoor Centre.
If you need us to care for your child over a longer period, we now offer the 'After Camp Session' from 3pm-5pm daily, based in the Darwen End and costing just £3 per session. The mixture of movies, computers and art keeps your child stimulated and entertained until you're free to come and collect them from the dance studio and classroom area.
