Amari'i Bell believes a trip to Ewood Park is like a cup final for teams in League One.

Bell, who impressed in his debut for the club and earned the Man of the Match award, had that feeling when he came with Fleetwood Town earlier in the season.

And he admits that his new club will have to prepared to deal with every sort of game plan after being frustrated at home by Northampton at the weekend.

“Every team wants to beat Blackburn Rovers and teams are going to come here - a nice ground - and fight for their lives," he said to iFollow Rovers.

“These are the types of grounds where players want to play. It’s never going to be easy for us but we need to keep our cool. If we do that then we’ll be okay this season."

It's been just over a week since Amari'i arrived from Fleetwood and he feels it couldn't have gone much better for him.

It's always difficult to come to a new club mid-season, but the left back feels right at home at Rovers already.

“I’ve settled in really well here to be honest. The boys have been nice to me, welcomed me with open arms and I’m really enjoying my time here.

“It’s been great and I can’t wait for the coming weeks now."
