It's now three consecutive games with the same XI for Tony Mowbray, who once again names an unchanged side for the visit of Northampton to Ewood Park.

And it comes as no surprise considering Rovers have won two out of two with that starting XI, coming into today's #OneRovers day.

It means Elliott Bennett continues his central midfield role alongside Richie Smallwood, with Bradley Dack just behind Danny Graham.

Craig Conway and Dominic Samuel will offer width for Mowbray's men against a Cobblers side who come into this one on the back of three consecutive victories - their best run of the season.

New signing Amari'i Bell starts his Rovers career on the bench, alongside fellow January captures Jack Payne and Adam Armstrong.

For the visitors, former Rovers loanee Matt Grimes, who appeared 13 times for the club in the 2015-16 season, starts on his return to Ewood.

Rovers: Raya, Nyambe, Downing, Mulgrew (c), Williams, Smallwood, Bennett, Samuel, Dack, Conway, Graham.

Substitutes: Leutwiler, Caddis, Bell, Payne, Travis, Armstrong, Nuttall.

Northampton: O'Donnell, Taylor, Hoskins, Long, O'Toole, Crooks, Facey, Poole, Grimes, Turnbull, Bunney.

Substitutes: Cornell, Moloney, Foley, Revell, Powell, Pereira, Ariyibi.
