Rovers boss Tony Mowbray has made five changes for today's FA Cup third round clash against Hull City.

Heading out of the XI which started the last game against Rotherham on New Year's Day are David Raya, Paul Downing, Richie Smallwood, Bradley Dack and Danny Graham.

Jayson Leutwiler once again in this competition starts in goal and it appears Ryan Nyambe will play at centre back with skipper Charlie Mulgrew with Paul Caddis at right back.

Willem Tomlinson starts in the holding role ahead of Richie Smallwood, who is not in the squad.

And it could be a front two for Rovers against the Tigers with Joe Nuttall returning from a virus and potentially partnering Dominic Samuel in attack.

Opponents Hull have gone strong and include their top scorer Jarrod Bowen in their starting lineup.

Incidentally, both skippers for the game - Mulgrew and David Marshall - are team-mates for the Scottish national team.

Rovers: Leutwiler, Nyambe, Williams, Mulgrew (c), Caddis, Tomlinson, Evans, Bennett, Conway, Nuttall, Samuel.

Substitutes: Raya, Hart, Graham, Dack, Downing, Wharton, Travis.

Hull City: Marshall (c), Hector, Toral, Diomande, Bowen, Henriksen, Clark, Goebel, Tomori, Aina, Stewart.

Substitutes: McGregor, Irvine, Meyler, Dicko, Campbell, Clackstone, Hamilton.
