Ryan aiming to grip on to top two

Nyambe wants Rovers to continue doing what they've been doing

After hunting down the top two for months, rampaging Rovers right back Ryan Nyambe insists the team have to make sure they're there to stay.

Rovers finally moved into the automatic promotion places for the first time this season after that dramatic, late win at Fleetwood - a result Ryan admits was 'massive'.
And with two home games to come, Nyambe wants maximum points to crank up the pressure on table-topping Wigan and the chasers in the play-off places.
“Fleetwood was a massive result for us," he told iFollow Rovers after paying a visit to Westwood Primary School.
"If it’s by a point, two points, goal difference, we simply have to stay up there now.
“We have to go into every game with the same mentality that we’ve had in the last 16 games.
“At home we need the support behind us. The fans have been amazing. I really can’t fault them both home and away. We really appreciate their efforts in backing us and we'll need them for the rest of this season.
“The fans get us through a lot of moments in games, spells where we are under the cosh at times."
Nyambe is happy with his recent development and performances, and credits boss Tony Mowbray for getting the best out of his young talents.
And he's hoping he can repay that faith by playing his part in a Rovers return to the Championship come the end of the campaign.
“The boss shouts at me all the time when I am running down his flank where the dugout is," the 20-year-old confesses. "But I know he’s only trying to help me and he’s improving my game all the time.
“I made my 50th appearance for the club recently and it has came out of nowhere, to be honest. I am very much a different player now from when I made my debut and hopefully I can keep improving, keep getting better.
“It would be a great moment in my career to play a part in promotion at a great club."

And you can see whether or not Ryan can continue his fantastic form at #OneRovers Day this weekend against Northampton Town.
