Damien Johnson will take his young Development squad to Morecambe on Tuesday afternoon as Rovers aim to progress to the semi-finals stage of the Lancashire Senior Cup.
It's expected the likes of Willem Tomlinson and Dan Butterworth, who were both involved in the first team's draw at Rotherham less than 24 hours before, will play a part in the clash against the Shrimps.
Season ticket holders can watch the game for free upon production of their season ticket cards, otherwise general admission prices are £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.
Rovers’ Under-23s booked their place in the last eight of the competition courtesy of a penalty shoot-out victory over a strong Wigan Athletic side at the County Ground back in September.
Joe Rankin-Costello fired Rovers into a two-goal lead, but two late strikes from Wigan’s experienced frontman Noel Hunt sent the tie to penalties.
Will Grigg and Ryan Colclough both missed from 12 yards for the visitors, before Lewis Travis scored the decisive spot-kick to send Rovers through to the quarter-finals.
Morecambe also needed penalties to progress in the competition, beating Accrington Stanley 5-4 in the shootout after their first round tie had ended 3-3 after 90 minutes.
Quarter-final draw in full:
