Rovers boss Tony Mowbray admits he's frustrated with injuries hampering his midfield area.

Marcus Antonsson will be out for the next few weeks with an ankle injury, whilst Harry Chapman will miss the next couple of months with a hamstring concern.

And things haven't improved for Rovers, with Corry Evans coming off against old club Hull City and Peter Whittingham not in the squad against the Tigers.

And although Evans' injury isn't as bad as first thought, Whittingham is a concern for Mowbray.

“Corry Evans came off with a tight thigh so there's a frustration in that sense but it was only a precautionary measure. It's a new injury," the boss revealed.

"Peter has an injury. He did his calf in training on Friday. He would have been starting against Hull had he not picked it up.

"It's frustrating for us that there are a few niggles just starting to set into the squad."
