The magic of the FA Cup returns to Ewood Park this weekend when Rovers host Hull City in the third round of the competition.

And your child could be standing on the touchlines to wave some extra magic in the players' direction!

Every young Rovers fan's dream is to take their place on the pitch and see their favourite stars walk out to the roar of the home crowd for an important fixture, so this weekend, we are selecting a handful of lucky young supporters from the crowd to form part of the guard of honour as the teams emerge from the tunnel.

If you are sitting in the Blackburn Rovers Community Trust Family Stand, you will be in with a chance of being selected as we face the Tigers in the FA Cup for the first time since 1954.

The rules to enter are simple. All we ask is for entrants to wear as many Rovers related garments as they can find, be it shirts, coats, scarves, hats or anything with the club's crest on show.

Members of Community Trust staff will be at the front of the stand from 2.30pm onwards to select the lucky participants, who need to be aged 16 or under and physically able to wave the blue and white flags in order to get involved.

Adrian Ward, Blackburn Rovers Community Trust’s head of marketing and communications, said: “We have run a number of very successful competitions over the festive period that have allowed a lot of our younger supporters to enjoy the excitement of the matchday experience within touching distance of the players, so this is a continuation of that trend.

“To mark the first game of 2018, we wanted to do something special and select the winners from the crowd to enjoy an experience they will never forget, with the lucky winners joining a local group who have been selected to supply some of the participants.

"We've kept the entry criteria simple, as we did with similar opportunities in last season's FA Cup run - just come along to support Rovers in our Family Stand, wearing the right team colours, and you'll be in with a great chance of success.”

Tickets for Saturday's third round tie are still available in the Blackburn Rovers Community Trust Family Stand, which boasts a number of fun activities for children of all ages, including the chance to play FIFA 18 in The GAME Room or enjoy free face painting and fruit bags in Rover's Kennel, courtesy of McDonald's at Ewood.

To purchase your seats - priced at just £12 for adults, £5 for seniors over 65 or youths aged 18-21 and £2 for under 18s - please contact the ticket office on 01254 372001 or buy online at
