Rovers winger Liam Feeney has today extended his loan spell with Cardiff City until the end of the 2017-18 season.

The 30-year-old, who joined Rovers from Bolton Wanderers on a two-year deal in the summer of 2016, spent the first half of the season with the high-flying Championship club, making 13 appearances.

In two spells at Ewood Park, Feeney made 49 appearances in Rovers colours, scoring one goal.

He has been given permission to play for the Bluebirds in their FA Cup third round tie at home to Mansfield Town tomorrow.
