Damien Johnson's Development Squad are back in action on Monday night in the Premier League Cup, when Southampton Under-23s visit the Lancashire FA HQ.
Both sides have already progressed to the knockout phase of the competition, but Rovers know a win against the Saints will see them go through as group winners.
Johnson's charges will be looking to avenge the defeat in the competition against the Saints back in December, as Yann Vallery and Matt Targett saw Rovers suffer a 2-0 defeat at Staplewood Training Ground on the south coast.
Lewis Travis is expected to gain more minutes under his belt, with the youngster still unavailable for first team action due to the suspension he picked up following his red card at Portsmouth two weeks ago.
Striker Lewis Mansell will hope to get the nod to lead the line, with the forward in such fine form following three goals in his last four games in all competitions.
The Saints have won four of their last five games, which include their last two, the latest of which was a 5-1 mauling against Newcastle United.
This will be the third meeting between the two sides already this season, with Joe Nuttall's solitary strike being the difference when the two met in Southampton back in August in Premier League 2.
Kick-off is at 7pm in Leyland, and we'll have the action covered on our official Twitter account.
