Rovers boss Tony Mowbray makes one change for the long trip to tackle Plymouth Argyle at Home Park.

That change sees Craig Conway return to the side in place of Jack Payne, who drops to the bench.

In form hitman Danny Graham - who has six goals in his last six league games - makes his 500th career appearance and needs just two goals to reach 150 in his career.

Charlie Mulgrew remains sidelined, but could be back for next week's home clash with Oldham Athletic.

Adam Armstrong starts after an encouraging display against Walsall in midweek and will hope he has more luck on his side down in Devon.

For the hosts, ex-Rover Yann Songo'o - who played twice for the blue-and-whites - begins on the bench, whilst two of Mowbray's former players in Graham Carey and Ruben Lameiras both start.

Plymouth: Matthews, Threlkeld, Sawyer (c), Ness, Sarcevic, Carey, Lameiras, Bradley, Taylor, Vyner, Fox.

Substitutes: Cooper, Songo'o, Ainsworth, Church, Makasi, Grant, Taylor-Sinclair.

Rovers: Raya, Nyambe, Downing, Williams, Bell, Smallwood, Bennett (c), Conway, Dack, Armstrong, Graham.

Substitutes: Leutwiler, Samuel, Caddis, Payne, Evans, Travis, Nuttall.
