It could be one 'El of an end to the season, says Bennett

It doesn't matter if it's five-a-side, a kick-about in the park or a crunch League One fixture, Elliott Bennett wants to win them all.

Bennett's been a regular feature for Rovers this season, and although he's yet to find the net this term, has certainly weighed in with solid performances both on the wing and in central midfield.
And ahead of the visit of his former club Bury on Monday night, Benno wants another three points to add to another unbeaten run between now and the end of the season - but he admits the side won't be getting ahead of themselves.
“I want to win every football match, whether that be a friendly or one that gets you three points," he said. "Every three points now are worth the same now as they were at the start of the season.
“It’s a really important part of the season, we have 14 games we are all relishing and we look forward to the games ahead.
“We started the season with high hopes, big dreams and fell flat on our face. If we were getting carried away then that was slapped out of us nice and early into the season. It gave us another 44 games to look forward to and so far, we’ve done really well.
“We know the job in hand. It’s not done until it’s done. We lost the first two games but we’ve come through it really well and since then our quality has really shown."
And ahead of a home clash against the Shakers, Benno knows that the side could easily be caught out if they head into the game with the wrong mentality.
“Every team, on their day, can be dangerous," he added. "If we don’t apply ourselves and aren’t at it from the first whistle, as we know from times this season, then we’ll be punished.
“We have to implement our style on them and then hopefully on the day you do enough to get the three points."
