Natasha Flint scored twice as Rovers Ladies ran out comfortable 3-0 winners away to Bradford City.
Captain Lynda Shepherd was also on target, as Gemma Donnelly's side ensured they remain hot on the heels of the teams at the top of the Premier League Northern Division table.
Goalkeeper Amelia Size was handed her first senior appearance for Rovers and the young stopper was called into action just past the 10-minute mark when she tipped a smart shot onto the bar.
Against the run of play, Flint made the Bantams pay for their missed opportunity when she dribbled from outside the box before bending the ball around the Bradford keeper to give Rovers the lead.
Despite the nervous opening, the goal kick-started Rovers’ afternoon, with both Flint and Kelsey Pearson going close to doubling the visitors' lead.
Just before the break, Rovers did double their advantage when Ellie Cook found herself unmarked and her header across goal was poked home by Shepherd, who had followed in well.
After the interval, Flint twice went close, before finally grabbing Rovers’ third.
Saffron Jordan’s shot was well saved, before Flint’s follow-up effort was cleared on the line, only for midfielder to convert her second of the game at the third time of asking.
The win sees Rovers remain 14 points behind league leaders Middlesbrough, but with six games in hand.
