Tony Mowbray admits he has some weary bodies in his Rovers squad for the festive period, but insists his side will be ready to go for the Boxing Day battle at Leeds United.

Elliott Bennett was unavailable to play against old club Norwich City on Saturday night with a foot injury, whilst Charlie Mulgrew and Harrison Reed picked up sickness and injury in the clash against the Canaries.

With all three substitutes used, Reed was forced to see out the final 10 minutes against Daniel Farke's outfit, and the boss admits he has decisions to make on a number of individuals for the upcoming trip to Leeds.

“I hope I don’t regret not taking Harrison off," Tony told iFollow Rovers.

"He was in the middle of the pitch and couldn’t run. Injuries are part of football and we have to get on with it.

“Lots of players are struggling. There are a lot of aching bodies out there having put in the work they have done.
“When you play against a team like Norwich, a team who keep the ball, it’s a really intense concentration and effort day.
“We’ll get the bodies recovered and see who we have available for a trip to Elland Road on Boxing Day."
