Tony Mowbray says "efficient" Corry Evans is a huge part of his Rovers team after the Northern Ireland international signed a new long-term deal with the club earlier today.

Evans, who has been with Rovers since signing from Hull City in the summer of 2013, will remain at the club until 2021 after penning a fresh two-and-a-half year deal.
Evans has produced his most consistent performances under Mowbray, and the boss is delighted to keep hold of the 28-year-old.
“Corry’s an important player for our team. The way we play, the system we play, Corry’s economical and knows the way we go about our work," Mowbray told iFollow Rovers.
“He’s another cog for us. With total respect to him, he’s not an individual like Bradley [Dack] who can create those magic moments, but he’s a very effective and very efficient footballer.
“Every manager wants players you can depend on and trust, and that’s what Corry gives us. I’m delighted that he has extended his contract.
“He’ll be here for the next few years and will hopefully help us be successful.
“I have spoken to Corry about his brain, anticipation, being in the right position and thinking ahead. He doesn’t go round crunching players, but he nicks the ball and gets us moving in the right direction.
“He is understated, but he’s a crucial part of what we do."
Corry missed the first part of Mowbray's tenure as Rovers manager towards the end of the 2016-17 campaign, but has enjoyed a regular run in the side over the last year or so in particular.
“If you think back, he was injured for those first 15 games under me the last time we were in the Championship," Tony reflected.
"I remember my Middlesbrough teams playing against him at Hull and I remember he was very good at breaking the play up and moving the ball around.
“I was looking forward to working with him, but he was unavailable for those first 15 games. I’m delighted that he’s remained fit for the majority of my time here.
“He enjoys his football and long may that continue."
