Tony Mowbray has ruled Elliott Bennett out of this weekend's clash against Birmingham City, but expects to have pretty much a fully fit squad to choose from.
Bennett joins Ben Gladwin and Dominic Samuel on the sidelines, with the latter pair being long-term absentees due to troublesome knee injuries.
But aside from Bennett, Tony's got plenty of options to choose from for the visit of the Blues to Ewood Park on Saturday.
“I don’t like to moan about injuries because they are part and parcel of football," Tony told iFollow Rovers.
"We’ve seen in recent weeks the likes of [Paul] Downing and [Craig] Conway coming in because of injuries and have done fantastically well.
“Generally we’re looking fine, but we can rule Elliott Bennett and the long-term ones out. The rest will be fine to play I’d expect.
“Elliott will be desperate to play against Norwich next weekend, but at the end of the day, the injury will dictate how soon he comes back. We’ll wait and see with Benno.
“When he is ready he’ll be ready. We need him for 20 games rather than just the one."
