Tony Mowbray’s team are looking to return to winning ways in the final away fixture of 2018.

Here’s our guide to the game…

STATE OF PLAY

There was late heartbreak for Rovers at Elland Road, where two stoppage time goals from Kemar Roofe handed Leeds all three points on Boxing Day.

Rovers had led late on after Charlie Mulgrew scored a brace to take his tally up to seven for the season. The Blues remain in 14th position in the Sky Bet Championship table after that 3-2 defeat.

As always, we'll be bringing you team news and live updates on the game via social media. Fans can follow the action on our official Twitter account, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm.

TEAM NEWS

Ben Brereton was ill and missed the game at Leeds, while Ryan Nyambe will be assessed after he was forced off with a hamstring injury on Boxing Day.

Elliott Bennett is unlikely to be fit enough to replace the full-back in the starting lineup, and Craig Conway is not yet ready to return.

Harrison Reed will be pushing for a starting spot, after only being fit enough to be named on the bench last time out. But the midfielder came through the last half an hour unscathed when called upon as a second-half substitute.

OUR OPPONENTS

Sheffield United have 41 points from their opening 24 games and sit fourth in the table.

They are seven points away from the automatic promotion places, but are four points ahead of seventh placed Birmingham City.

Chris Wilder’s side inflicted Rovers’ first home defeat of the season in the reverse fixture at Ewood Park, winning 2-0 in early October.

The Blades are looking to make it back-to-back victories after beating Derby County 3-1 last time out. They have named an unchanged team for the last three games.

TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE

Tickets are available to buy on the day of the game, from the away ticket office situated across from the turnstiles on Bramall Lane. There is a £2 price increase.
