Rovers' 2018-19 FA Youth Cup journey gets underway this evening, with Gillingham providing the opposition for the clash.
The game will take place at Ewood Park tonight, kick-off 7pm, as Rovers aim to get up and running at the first time of asking at the third round stage.
Last season's run was a memorable one for Billy Barr's boys, who reached the quarter-final stage of the competition before suffering defeat to our Lancashire neighbours Blackpool on home turf.
Rovers defeated Stoke City, Watford and Nottingham Forest before losing to the Tangerines, and will be aiming for better this time around.
Jack Vale will play a part in the game, with the Welshman having quite an impact in the tournament last term, most notably bagging a hat-trick in the 5-1 win against Forest.
It's also expected that highly-rated pair Jalil Saadi and Vilius Piliukaitis will get their first ever taste of the FA Youth Cup.
The Gills come into this one having defeated AFC Wimbledon away in round one before breezing past Cheltenham Town in the last round, hammering the Robins 4-0 away from home.
Tickets for supporters are priced at £4 for adults and £2 for concessions, so come and back the boys!
Supporters will be housed in the Jack Walker Lower for the game.
