Rovers pair John Buckley and Dan Butterworth managed to secure themselves a sweet deal last night as they paid a visit to Heavenly Desserts in Blackburn town centre.
The youngsters, who both played a part in the Development Squad's Premier League 2 success last season, had a look around the new venue, which is based in Sudell Cross in Blackburn.
Heavenly Desserts was founded in 2008 and was one of the first specialist dessert companies to be launched in the United Kingdom.
The menu has a wide range of pancakes, waffles, fondants, cakes and artisan slices, and an artisan tea range, coffee and wide range of soft drinks.
The young Rovers were impressed by the chic interior of the new store, with both Buckley and Butterworth sampling one of the cafe's Mojito mocktails.
"It's very nice and smart inside, and has a great look to it," Butterworth reflected.
"The staff appear to be very friendly and there's a real variety of different desserts to try. Being an athlete, I couldn't possibly take on a cheesecake!"
The doors to the Sudell Cross store will open to the public at noon on Friday 10th August.
