Rovers boss Tony Mowbray has named two changes to the team that started against Hull at the weekend for the visit of Reading to Ewood Park.

Both are enforced and both are in the attacking areas, with Kasey Palmer and Bradley Dack both missing out on the squad due to knocks.

Dack limped off in that victory at the KCOM on Saturday, whilst Palmer has picked up a slight injury in training this week.

The pair are replaced by Joe Rothwell - making his 100th career appearance - and striker Danny Graham.

The game also comes too early for Derrick Williams, who remains out injured with a foot problem.

Ex-Reading man Dominic Samuel is on the bench against the side where he started his career, whilst Sam Hart gets his first involvement in the first team squad this season.

For Reading, former Rover Mo Barrow starts on the bench. The winger appeared five times for Rovers during a month at Ewood Park back at the beginning of the 2015-16 season.

The experienced former Sunderland and Manchester United defender Paul McShane skippers the Royals this evening.

Kick-off at Ewood is at 7.45pm and if you can't make it for the game, you can listen to live commentary on iFollow Rovers or keep track of the action via our social media channels.
