Joe Grayson becomes the first player to follow in his father's footsteps in making a senior appearance for Rovers since Wilfred Crompton in 1929.
The Academy graduate gets the nod for his first ever Rovers start, with dad Simon playing 35 times for us between 1999 and 2002.
Grayson is one of six changes, with Paul Downing, Craig Conway, Lewis Travis, Paul Caddis and Danny Graham all coming into the side for the Carabao Cup clash against the Imps.
Caddis makes his first outing in the senior team since the trip to Charlton Athletic at the back end of last season, whilst Downing appears for the first time this campaign.
The likes of Charlie Mulgrew, Bradley Dack and Adam Armstrong are all left out of the squad, with the latter two recovering from recent injuries.
Lincoln loanee Scott Wharton isn't eligible to play against his parent club, with the experienced Jason Shackell filling in at the back for the visitors.
Kick-off at Ewood Park is at 7.45pm and you can follow all the action across our social media channels and on iFollow Rovers.
