Ahead of the first home game of the season this Saturday, we would like to inform supporters about a number of changes to our turnstile entry system and Season Ticket Card functionality.
We have installed new contactless card readers at all turnstiles, meaning that instead of inserting your Season Ticket Card into the scanner you can now gain entry to the stadium by holding you card in proximity to the reader. In addition, the new entrance system will also ensure that all supporters are gaining entry to the correct area of the stadium, whilst also being in possession of the correct ticket.
We would like to remind all supporters that in order to gain entry to the stadium you must be in possession of the correct ticket, any misuse of tickets will result in supporters being refused entry to the stadium.
From November onwards, supporters aged 18 and over, will be able to use their Season Ticket Card as a payment card linked to their debit card. Full details will be sent out closer to the time to explain in detail how to utilise the full functionality of the card.
The launch of this technology is set to coincide with a full upgrade of our concourse catering systems during the October International break. Once complete the upgrade will give supporters the opportunity to pay for food & drink on the concourse using their Season Ticket or bankcard. This system not only removes the need for supporters to carry cash but also will see a significant reduction in queuing time and increased efficiency across the stadium.
Supporters with any questions about their Season Ticket can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
