Tony Mowbray has revealed that today's training session will dictate whether Bradley Dack will play a part in Wednesday night's home clash with Reading.
Dack limped out of the weekend win at Hull City, with his goal being the match-winning strike on the banks of the River Humber.
After attempting to win the ball back, the playmaker picked up an impact injury, which could rule him out of the midweek game with the Royals.
So whilst Bradley could return, one player who definitely won't is Derrick Williams, who remains absent due to a foot injury picked up in training a couple of weeks ago.
“It’s a case of waiting and seeing on Bradley. He didn’t train on Monday but we’re still pretty hopeful he can get his boots on today and get involved in the game preparation. There’s was bit of swelling and it’s started to settle down," the boss told iFollow Rovers.
“He’s been with the physios and has been in the pool, and if he trains and is back on the grass on Tuesday then I’ll imagine that he will be available for Wednesday night.
“As we said, it was just a knock. As long as it doesn’t have an impact on his movement then he will be fine.
“We’ll re-assess Bradley on Tuesday morning, but Derrick still isn’t there yet so Amari’i [Bell] - who had a really good game on Saturday - will continue at left back.
“Generally we’re okay. I see a big couple of weeks coming up with a lot of games, we play Wednesday, then Saturday and then Tuesday, so we’ll have to utilise everybody."
Don't forget, Rovers are back in action on Wednesday 22nd August when Reading head to Ewood Park and you can get tickets for the clash against the Royals by clicking here.
