Blackburn Rovers have scored another winning partnership, this time with thriving local business Vampire Vape, whose name will be up in lights at Ewood Park.
The award-winning Darwen-based business have joined the club’s growing commercial portfolio as Scoreboard Sponsors for the 2018-19 season.
The brainchild of Rovers supporters Nathan Walton and Phil Boyle, Vampire Vape started out as a small-scale operation in 2012 and are now one of the biggest e-liquid manufacturers in Europe.
They sell to 63 countries across the world, producing 30 million bottles of e-liquid, with a range of 350 flavours and workforce of around 100 people, following an £11million investment into their Global Way premises.
Their phenomenal growth and success was recently recognised at the Hive Awards, where they picked up the Manufacturing, Innovation and Technology Excellence and Growth Business Award.
Speaking about the exciting link-up with Rovers, Nathan Walton said: “It’s great to be working with the club I’ve supported since I was a young boy.
“As a company which started out in Blackburn, it’s brilliant that we’ll have such a visible and prominent presence to so many local people who come to Ewood Park.
“Rovers is a club back on the up after the success of last season and we see this as the perfect time to get on board. We’re proud to be the sponsors of the scoreboard, having come to Ewood so many times over the years from winning the Premier League title up to now.”
