Elliott Bennett is pleased to continue playing his part in rewarding Rovers' supporters for their "fantastic" backing, and had hailed them for their efforts.

Once again Rovers were backed on the road at Hull City on Saturday, with Bradley Dack's first half goal sending all back to East Lancashire in buoyant mood.

And speaking afterwards, Benno was thrilled to keep the good times rolling, with Rovers unbeaten in their opening three league games back in the Championship.

“The fans were fantastic and have been ever since I've been at the club," he said to iFollow Rovers.

"I heard about them before I arrived, and ever since the gaffer has come in it's a different football club with a different, better feeling around the place.

“There's a real togetherness, as we saw at the end of the game. We all went across to celebrate with the fans because they pay their money, travel all over the country to watch us and the fans deserve that enjoyment when we win.

“They have worked hard supporting us all of last season and will do again this term. They deserve to be in the Championship and we're grateful for their fantastic support."

Don't forget, Rovers are back in action on Wednesday 22nd August when Reading head to Ewood Park and you can get tickets for the clash against the Royals by clicking here.
