Rovers Under-23s bring down the curtain on their title-winning campaign away to West Bromwich Albion this evening.

The game takes place at The Hawthorns – and not at Kidderminster Harriers as originally scheduled – with kick-off at 7pm.

Damien Johnson’s side secured the Premier League 2 Division 2 title on Friday night following Aston Villa’s 2-0 defeat away to Newcastle United.

The champions will now hope to end the season in style with victory over the Baggies tonight.

The reverse fixture, which took place at the County Ground in November, ended in a 2-2 draw, as Rovers twice came from behind to secure a share of the spoils.

Lewis Hardcastle was on the scoresheet that day and the Rovers skipper will be presented with the Premier League 2 trophy at our final home game of the season against Oxford United at Ewood Park on Saturday May 5th.

Top goalscorer Joe Nuttall also his sights set on silverware, ahead of the final round of fixtures.

The young Rovers forward has 13 league goals from 14 starts this season – level with Stoke City’s Tyrese Campbell – in the race for the Golden Boot award.

Good luck, lads!
