Rovers boss Tony Mowbray has named one change for the home test against Peterborough United at Ewood Park from the team that played at Bristol Rovers at the weekend.
Craig Conway drops to the bench, with Marcus Antonsson coming in to play on one of the wings.
Other than that, it's the same side who started at the weekend, with Corry Evans fit to start again and Elliott Bennett continuing in his right back role.
Alongside Evans in midfield will be Richie Smallwood, who achieved promotion with Peterborough boss Steve Evans during their time at Rotherham United.
For our opponents Peterborough, manager Evans makes four changes from the team which lost to Rochdale last time out, with Liam Shephard, Lewis Freestone, Chris Forrester and Junior Morais all moving to the banch.
They are replaced by Danny Lloyd, Michael Doughty, Anthony Grant and ex-Premier League man Steven Taylor in the XI, with the latter out at the weekend following suspension.
The game comes too soon for playmaker Marcus Maddison, but the League One top goalscorer Jack Marriott does start.
