Rovers Ladies returned to winning ways with a thumping 7-0 victory over Bradford City.
Captain Lynda Shepherd grabbed her fifth goal in four games, while Lagan Makin bagged a brace with a goal in each half.
Saffron Jordan, Natasha Flint, Hannah Walsh and Jess Holbrook were also on the scoresheet, as Gemma Donnelly’s side bounced back from Sunday’s surprise defeat to Leicester City.
Rovers set the tone from the off, as an early corner was deflected goalwards, but a Bradford player cleared the ball off the line.
On 16 minutes, Shepherd continued her rich vein of form as she rose highest to head home the first of the night.
Rovers continued to pile on the pressure and deservedly doubled their lead 10 minutes later when Makin raced in behind and finished emphatically past the keeper via the aid of the crossbar.
After the break, Rovers put the Bantams to the sword, scoring a further five goals. On 49 minutes, Jordan’s pass gave Flint a clear sight of goal and her powerful low effort found the back of the net.
On the hour mark, Holbrook showed great composure to calmly slot the ball past Nat Saunders in the Bradford goal to make it four.
A superb solo run from Makin saw Rovers make it five, as she cut in from the right, beating three defenders, before bending the ball into the top corner from outside the box.
With just a few minutes remaining, Jordan made it six with a powerful effort from inside the area, before Walsh grabbed her first senior goal to complete the rout.
ROVERS: Hill, Pearson, Taylor, Cook (Clarkson 51), McDonald, Shepherd (Walsh 59), Fenton, Holbrook, Makin, Jordan, Flint (Cunliffe 75).
