Rovers will look to keep the hunt for automatic promotion firmly on track with victory at Bristol Rovers on Saturday.

Here's our guide to the game...

STATE OF PLAY

Last time out, Rovers were forced to settle for a point at Gillingham, a result which means we have lost just once in 30 league games. Tony Mowbray's side sit second in the League One standings, behind leaders Wigan on goal difference and five points ahead of third-placed Shrewsbury. Going into the Bristol Rovers game this weekend, we have scored 75 goals in 2017/18, conceding 36 times at the other end. With just five games to go, Saturday's clash represents an opportunity to keep the pressure on our promotion rivals. Fans can follow the action via our official Twitter account, with highlights available for iFollow subscribers after the game.

TEAM NEWS

Rovers are expected to have the same pool of players available for selection following the midweek trip to Gillingham. Bradley Dack and Darragh Lenihan both started against the Gills and may do so again this weekend, but Ryan Nyambe remains a couple of weeks away from a comeback. Elliott Bennett could come up against his brother Kyle, who has impressed since joining Bristol Rovers from Portsmouth in February. Mowbray is expected to provide a further update during his pre-match press conference on Thursday afternoon. As always, we'll bring you news of both starting line-ups an hour before kick-off on matchday.

OUR OPPONENTS

Bristol Rovers currently sit 10th in the standings, seven points outside the play-off places with 55 from their 41 games so far this season. Managed by Darrell Clarke, the Gas have had mixed fortunes of late, and drew 1-1 with fellow play-off hopefuls Charlton on their last league outing. Their top scorer in all competition this season is Ellis Harrison with 11. Mowbray's men will be hoping for a repeat of the reverse fixture at Ewood, which saw us come from behind to secure a 2-1 win, with goals from Charlie Mulgrew and Dominic Samuel.
