Rovers loanee Marcus Antonsson believes there is no better player in League One than team-mate Bradley Dack.
Bradley is one of three Rovers players - alongside David Raya and Charlie Mulgrew - in the League One Team of the Season.
But Dack's gone one further and is on a three-man shortlist to win the Player of the Year gong ahead of Sunday's awards ceremony in London, with Peterborough striker Jack Marriott and Wigan's Nick Powell completing the trio with their eyes on the prize.
And for Marcus, only one man deserved to win the award, saying: “For me it would be wrong for Dacky to not win everything. He’s been impressive, different class and has played a massive part of what we’ve been doing this season," the Swedish forward told iFollow Rovers.
“He brings a lot of positive energy to the group and is a really good guy.
“I was pretty new in English football and didn’t know too much about him. But when I came here I saw that his first touch in particular was very good. He’s just got better and better throughout the season and hopefully he can keep that up.
“You can be a good playing central midfielder but to play the finer passes, be a goal threat and constantly working hard for the team is much more difficult. He really does deserve to win the Player of the Year award."
We'll bring you the results from the award evening, which takes place later tonight.
