Rovers Ladies' development squad have won the FA Women's Premier League Reserve Northern Division for the second season in succession.
Ellie Cash's side officially retained the title at the weekend as results elsewhere meant that Rovers couldn't be caught by Middlesbrough or Huddersfield Town.
With one game remaining, Rovers have an impressive record of 13 wins, one draw and just one defeat from their 15 league games, having scored 55 goals and conceded just eight throughout the campaign.
The successful season has also seen a high number of players make their debut for the Ladies first team, with Amelia Size, Jennie Myler, Eve Clarkson, Kaylea Cunliffe, Caitlin Gerrard, Hannah Walsh, Sarah Agger and Chelsey Jukes all featuring at some stage for Gemma Donnelly's senior side.
Rovers will hope to secure further silverware before the season is out, as the Ladies bid for FA Women's Premier League Cup glory on Sunday when they take on Leicester City at Chesterfield’s Proact Stadium, before facing Chorley Ladies in the final of the Lancashire FA Women's Challenge Cup on May 10th, whilst also looking to retain the FA Women's Premier League Northern Division title.
