Adam Armstrong's in confident mood ahead of the crucial final seven games of the season, and admits he fancies himself to find the back of the net in every one.
Not many have been in deadlier form than the loan striker, who has bagged an impressive nine goals in his last nine games for the club.
It's been impossible to not play the 21-year-old, whose fortunes have changed since scoring on his birthday at Ewood at home to Oldham.
And Adam admits bagging his first since joining Rovers from Newcastle in January gave him a real confidence boost after initially going five games without scoring when he first signed.
“Scoring against Oldham on my birthday gave me a massive lift and I now go into every game believing I will score," Armstrong confessed to iFollow Rovers.
“I’m always confident I can score goals and I’m really enjoying things at the moment so hopefully I can keep on scoring.
“We enjoy the competition. The teams around us winning motivates us more and more. It’s what football is about."
Top of the table, Rovers have promotion firmly in their own hands and Adam's excited at the thought of adding to his honours list, should the team get the job done.
“I’ve never been involved in a promotion race - certainly not at this stage of the season - so if I can get a promotion on my CV then that would be brilliant," he added.
“I saw when I came that the team was near the top and with nine to go we need to stick together and push on."
Rovers are next in action on Saturday 7th April when Southend United visit Ewood Park. Kick-off is at 3pm and you can purchase your tickets by clicking here.
