Disability football sessions for children aged 8-16 are arriving at Blackburn Rovers Community Trust in May.
The Trust is hosting an open evening for the programme on Monday 14th May from 5-6pm in the Blackburn Rovers Indoor Centre.
The open evening session is available for any form of physical or learning disability, will be completely free for all participants and provides an opportunity to sample what the programme is like.
Participants can also meet in person the Trust coaches running the project. Refreshments will be provided at the open evening for parents and children.
Following the open evening, sessions - which are open for people with any form of physical or learning disability - will be held every Monday from 5-6pm in the Indoor Centre, with the cost £3 per session.
Disability multi-sports officer at the Trust, Matt Pilkington, said: “We have already had a lot of interest in the sessions which is fantastic to see.
"On Monday 14th May, we are hosting a free open session for participants so they can sample what our programme is like.
“We believe the disability football sessions will be popular and it is a great chance for children aged 8-16 to enjoy playing the sport they love at Blackburn Rovers Community Trust.”
