Danny Graham has hailed the togetherness at Rovers after a superb season so far which has already garnered a return to the Championship.
Rovers' sights still remain on the League One title, but speaking to iFollow Rovers on Friday, Graham is reveling in the moment after a first ever promotion.
And the Geordie hitman is delighted to pay the fans back after last season's relegation disappointment.
“It’s my first promotion and it was a joy to be a part of," be beamed to iFollow Rovers. "It was a tough start to the season but we’ve been on a great run and to back that up with promotion makes it all worthwhile.
“It means a lot. There were six or seven of us in the squad who were relegated last season and we felt we owed the club, owed the fans and owed the fans to get promoted and on the right track.
“This season has pulled everyone together, from the players, the club and the fans, who have really got behind us. Hopefully this can be the start of a great few years together.
“What’s got us over the line is the unity. We got the new signings on board and we’ve pulled together.
So, what are the hopes for the future? Can Rovers perhaps upset the odds in the second tier next term?
“Hopefully we can go into next season with the fans and players still on a high ready to go again for a tough season in the Championship," Danny concluded.
