A fans' favourite ever since signing for Rovers in January 2016, Elliott Bennett has almost become a cheerleader these days with his post-match fist pumps.
So when sitting down with him to look ahead to the weekend's game against Bristol Rovers, possible promotion and much more, we just had to ask the vital question - the one you all wanted to know...
When did the Benno fist pump actually become a thing?
“I don’t know to be honest!" Elliott answered with a grin. "I did it once after a game, full of emotion. From then on I received loads of tweets about it and I just felt that I should carry it on.
“To be honest, I don’t think about fist pumps after games, I’m just buzzing we’ve won as I really want to achieve things with this football club.
“I’m hoping to have five more fist pumps this season and if we get promoted then there may be a special one!"
Well that's certainly something to look forward to, we guess, and if that promotion goal is achieved, it will be some achievement according to Elliott, who acknowledges just how difficult a division League One is to get out of.
“It would be a massive moment to get promoted. You shouldn’t underestimate that because we’re Blackburn Rovers we’ll be getting out of this league.
"It’s a tough division to get out of - you’ve seen big teams like Sheffield United and Leeds United who have struggled to get out of this division first time around. It’s taken them a few years to get promoted.
“If we achieve promotion at the first time of asking then it’s a massive achievement, whether you have a really good squad or not and we’ll be aiming to achieve that come the end of the five remaining games."
