Boss Tony Mowbray feels that off the back of recent results, Rovers can approach tomorrow's match at Rochdale full of confidence.

Rovers travel to the Crown Oil Arena looking to make it a hat-trick of wins in the league following back-to-back victories over Bradford City and MK Dons.

However, as his side have experienced already this campaign, there are no easy games in League One, and the manager predicts another tough battle against a Dale side who have yet to claim a victory this season.

"I think we will go into the weekend's game in a confident mood," said Mowbray.

"We'll be playing against a hardworking, honest and committed side with some talent sprinkled around that pitch.

"It is very, very hard to go to Rochdale and just go and turn up and think you are going to win. It is a tight pitch and you are right on top of it. You know you are in a football match there.

"Keith Hill is an experienced manager, he knows the league inside out and he'll have his team ready.

"Blackburn Rovers is a big game for them so their players won't be short of adrenalin and desire, so we have to match that and then hopefully we've got some players on the pitch that can make a difference.

"It is a game that our supporters will come in large numbers and expect to find a performance and that is what I'll be expecting too."
